It wasn't the plan: Dad delivers twins at home

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - "York County 911 do you need police, fire, or Medic?" The dispatcher asked. "Um, how are you," said the man about to deliver his own twins at home.

Jason Nolan was obviously nervous, he doesn't exactly have any baby-delivering experience. He quickly learned the ropes as a dispatcher guided him through the process.

Jamie Nolan's water broke at home. Her twin girls weren't due for another 4 weeks. There wasn't any time to get to the hospital. There was hardly enough time to call 911.

First came, Isabella. "Whoa! Well, there's one!" Jason told the dispatcher.

7 minutes and just as the ambulance arrived, Giana was born. The babies are both perfectly healthy with heads of thick, black hair.

Jamie sent me an e-mail telling me of this story and hoped to recognize her husband's valiant effort, just in time for Father's Day.
