CHARLOTTE, N. C. (WBTV) -- It's easy to see that potholes remain a big issue for you on See, Click, Fix.

It continues to be the No. 1 problem we're hearing about on wbtv.com.

Since our last report more than a month ago, we've been able to close several cases where potholes have been fixed.

A new one you're telling us about is heavily traveled North Tryon, between I-85 and Highway 29, in Charlotte.

Marti writes to us saying: "The potholes... are as bad as going down a dirt road. It's beyond patching. Can't they grate it down and repave at night?"

We also observed a bumpy mess on this stretch. It looks like potholes have been repaired there in the past only to crack and breakdown again.

This problem got over a hundred page views on our See, Click, Fix page online.

NC-DOT tells us that for this year North Tryon is not on their list of resurfacing projects.

They are still asking you though to call the district office in that area if you're finding it to be a real safety issue.

That number is (704) 596-6900.
