Kindergarten Boot Camp

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - She shouts commands to the recruits. They listen the best they can. Marlaina Williford is a drill instructor and her enlistees barely stand above 3 feet.

Kindergarten Boot Camp is taught at Little Angels Daycare in North Charlotte. Williford dons full fatigues as she teaches pre-schoolers their ABC's, 123's, and exercises.

The program is designed to teach the kids discipline. But no worries, Williford isn't too tough. In fact, we found the little ones love their sergeant, even enough to give her a smooch now and again.

Williford used to work in the jail system and says that's where her teaching method comes from. She says it's designed to teach kids early before they get older and create bad habits.
