ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - Like most 9-year-old girls, Selena Lewis is obsessed with all things pink. But, her passion for the popular color is overshadowed by her enormous heart.
Selena was watching the news images from Haiti with her grandmother. She asked what she could do to help.
She came up with a plan to collect simple T-shirts to send to the thousands of people who lost clothes in the earthquake.
The students at Belleview Elementary jumped right on board. Selena was swamped with more t-shirts than she expected. 2,000 t-shirts in every shape, size and color.
The Lewis's had a plan to ship them to Haiti, but it fell through. They're hoping someone will see their massive collection of donations, and be able to help get them where they're needed most.
