CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Chris Swecker, the former Executive Assistant Director for the FBI, says he is considering running for Mecklenburg County District Attorney. He appeared on WBT Keith Larson's radio show Tuesday morning, along with WBTV's Molly Grantham.
Swecker retired from the FBI's third-highest position and also served as Chief Security Officer at Bank of America in Charlotte.
He told Larson and Grantham that if he ran, and if elected, he would focus on Mecklenburg County's repeat offender problem. He also said he's really trying to decide whether to run because of the drain it would put on family.
