CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Blue Restaurant and Bar in uptown Charlotte and the First Haitian Church of Grace have joined to host a series of events that will raise funds to help the people of Haiti.
The benefit events will take place three nights in a row, starting Wednesday, January 20th at 7pm, at Blue Restaurant and Bar.
Wednesday nights theme is "Wine and Blue," featuring local blues musicians. Wine tasting will begin at 8pm at $25 per person. 100% of the proceeds will be donated.
Thursday night will feature local saxophonist John Alexander, as well as a three course meal for $35 per person. 15% of the proceeds will be donated. $10 donations will be taken at the door from bar patrons. Dinner will go from 5-10pm, music will start at 7pm.
Friday night features a jam with local musicians along with a silent auction. A $10 donation will be taken at the door, along with $15 for the beer and cheese tasting. 100% of the proceeds will be donated.
