CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The challenge is ON.  WBTV wants to help you lose weight in 2010.  If you're finished with fad diets, the renowned Mayo Clinic is out with what it says will be the last diet you'll ever need.  Dr. Donald Hensrud, M.D. is the Editor In Chief of the new book, "The Mayo Clinic Diet." says "it's the healthiest way to lose weight quickly there is."
There's no calorie or carbohydrate counting.  The diet asks you to adopt five healthy habits and dump five bad ones.  Click on the red camera icon to watch the rest of our story.
We're looking for one more volunteer in our Mayo Clinic versus Dr. Oz Diet Challenge.  Kristen Miranda earlier this week reported on the Dr. Oz plan.  She'll follow three people on the Dr. Oz plan, and Tonia will team up with three on the Mayo Clinic plan.  We'll follow our volunteers for at least two months and track their progress.
Email Tonia with a photograph and 30 words on why you'd like 2010 to be the year you really lose weight and take better care of yourself.
