Man flashes girl at school bus stop, police say

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte police are looking for a man who flashed a female student near a middle school Thursday.

Charlotte school officials said that the incident happened at about 7:30 am when a 12-year-old girl was waiting at a bus stop on Seneca Avenue.

The suspect pulled up a vehicle and then exposed himself and fondled himself in front of the girl.

The suspect then drove off, police said.

The victim then ran from the bus stop to Sedgefield Middle School and reported the incident to the school resource police officer when she got to school.

There will be increased security at the bus stop, school officials said.

A police report said that the suspect was a white man, who was about 20 years old, has a thin face and was driving a small four-door vehicle that was light blue.
