FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) - Old men sitting in a Hardee's eating biscuits every morning. An outsider might think nothing of it. But sit down with the gang in Fort Mill for a biscuit and they'll change your tune.
They call themselves the Hardee Boys. The group of about 20 men and even a few women talk about every topic under the sun. They mostly laugh but sometimes argue. Last year they all agreed on one thing. They needed to help people.
The gang came up with a "dues" system where every member pays $5 a month. Last year they raised $1,200 dollars and used it to buy a truckload of non-perishable food for the needy.
Amongst the laughing is a good bit of good coming from the Hardee Boys. Their dues system is on-going and they've already raised $155 for this year.
