Good News: Pay it backwards

LANCASTER, SC (WBTV) - The Chick-Fil-A on the Highway 9 Bypass in Lancaster is often the scene of something pretty cool.

Linda Kelly started off with a random gesture in the drive-thru. Linda paid for her breakfast and also, the car behind her.

She drove away before hearing thank you or even seeing the recipient smile. That's the way she likes it.

"I don't do it for attention or to brag," Linda says. The gesture is simply a small display of kindness. A pick-me-up for someone who might just need it.

Linda's gesture has snow-balled and now, several other Chick-Fil-A customers have taken the gesture on themselves.

One time the "pay it backward" momentum went on for 6 cars. Linda hopes more people will take notice and take time to do something nice.
