CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - With Halloween closing in, you might find it difficult to look around and not see a porch-sitting pumpkin.
Last year, the U.S. produced $141 million in pumpkins. Many of those ended up carved out as jack-o-lanterns.
We took a tour around several Charlotte neighborhoods and found hundreds of pumpkins. Each one as unique as the folks who carved them.
