The Good News Is... Pony and pink body suits

By Kristen Hampton - bio l email

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - It's not everyday you see 8 women dressed in pink and white body suits. You've probably never seen them in Uptown Charlotte, until today.

The group from Charlotte Radiology is a sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The 8 ladies silently passed out fliers to hundreds of folks sporting some pretty awkward stares.

7 women donned pink suits and one wore white to symbolize the fact that 1 in 8 women will be affected by breast cancer.

BESSEMER CITY, NC (WBTV) - We showed you a lost pony on Tuesday's broadcast of Good News. We asked you to help Gaston County Animal Control figure out where the wandering pony came from.

A viewer saw the story and quickly called her neighbor who'd been missing her 28 year old pony for a week.

"Babe" is now safe back in her stable, at least until the fence she escaped through can be fixed.
