High school football game canceled over flu

CABARRUS COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -- A high school football game has been cancelled because of flu fears.

The game between Cox Mill High School and Mount Pleasant High School was scheduled to be played Friday night.

It appears that around half the players have come down with swine flu.  Although they haven't been tested for swine flu, or H1N1, they have flu-like symptoms and right now that means the odds are it is swine.

The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday night.
