Beer Braised Chicken Sausage
Serves 4
4 chicken sausage
1 T olive oil
1 small to medium red onion
2 cloves garlic sliced
2 sprigs rosemary
1 can brown ale or dark beer
In a medium size pot brown sausage in oil on all sides over medium heat. Peel and cut onion in rings. Add to the sausage and cook to soften. Add garlic and rosemary. Cook for 1 minute. Add beer and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove cover and reduce to thicken. Serve directly or reheat in the oven. Shave cheese on top if you desire. Enjoy!!!!!
