LENOIR, NC (WBTV) - The Hardee's gang meets every Wednesday morning at the Hardee's on Highway 64 in Lenoir.
The band members might have a biscuit or two, but the main focus is the gospel music.
They sit in a circle in a small corner of the restaurant. Mandolins, banjos, guitars and several voices provide the entertainment. The group has been meeting each week for almost 10 years.
As the patrons take in breakfast, they also get to hear some old-time music straight from a group of admitted amateurs.
While the "gang" doesn't brag about their expert skills, they do put every bit of heart into each strum.
