Shooting in Midland

According to Sheriff D Brad Riley, at approximately 1:37 a.m. On Tuesday, Deputies of the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting in Midland, North Carolina.  Upon their arrival, Deputies found the victim Wesley Bruce Faulkner, 28 years of age, of Midland, North Carolina had been transported to Cabarrus Medical Center Northeast (CMC) by ambulance with wounds to his leg. Deputies were able to determine that no other people were wounded at the scene.
 
The suspect, John Edward Flowe Jr. W/M, 58 years old of Midland, North Carolina was arrested  at his home. Flowe Jr. was charged with Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury. He was placed in the Cabarrus County Jail under $50,000.00 secured bond.  At the time of this release, the victim was in guarded condition at CMC Northeast, Concord.
