Charlotte's Gang Problem

An introduction to Charlotte's gang problem. We'll meet two different men with two different approaches, but one goal: to keep kids out of gangs.

Teens Talk

A panel of local teens speak candidly in our WBTV studio about gangs. They have a frighteningly intimate understanding of how gangs operate. We have blurred their faces for their protection.

Taking it to the Streets

WBTV's Molly Grantham takes Gangs 101 to the streets. We hear from a local mother who has made it a priority to keep her 14 year old son out of gangs. She shares her proactive approach. And Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Superintendent Peter Gorman talks to us about gangs, and what the school system is doing to address the problem.

Putting it in Perspective

Two representatives from CMPD's Gang of One program help us sort out what we have heard so far.
