Suspect Accused of Prescription Forgery

A man in Gastonia faces drug charges after police say he used a doctor's name to get painkillers.

Police say 46-year-old Larry Stillwell obtained more than 200 doses of Oxycodone by forging Doctor Lee Barro's signature.

Dr. Barro is accused of trafficking more than 100,000 prescription pills.

Prosecutors allege he created a network with drug dealers, writing false prescriptions.

Barro has voluntarily surrendered his medical license.
