This afternoon, we have new information about a deadly hit and run accident in Shelby.

We now know 45 year-old Curtis Jordan and an eight year-old child were killed.

28 year-old Beverly Jackson is recovering in the hospital.

All three were hit as they walked along Broad Street last night.

Police say they have arrested the driver of the car, 21 year-old Lucas Rash.

Right now, Rash is being held on a $250,000 bond in the Cleveland County jail.

He faces several hit and run and death by motor vehicle charges, as well as DWI.
