Laugh MS will feature comedian David L., a personality with 96.1The Beat’s "A.M. Mayhem" show. Mike Storck, a comedy club circuit comedian and winner of the 2004 Carnival Comedy Challenge in Charlotte, will headline the show. All proceeds will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid-Atlantic Chapter. "This event is about laughing and enjoying life with friends, but at the same time being able to raise awareness in the community about MS and continuing to seek a cure," said Ted Wiener, one of the event organizers. Laugh MS will be held April 24, 2008 at the Lake Norman Comedy Zone at the Galway Hooker Irish Pub, located at 17044 Kenton Drive in Cornelius. Doors open at 6:00pm for appetizers and drinks, followed by a raffle for door prizes at 7:30, and the show at 8:00. Tickets are $50.
