Hometown:  Lewisburg, West Virginia, located in the southern part of the state near The Greenbrier Hotel & Resort.

Education: Greenbrier East HS, Lewisburg, WV; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from UNC-Charlotte

Career: An avid sports fan, Chuck got his start in radio while in high school with color commentary for local radio station WRON before moving to a rival station WKCJ the next year and performing play by play duties. Work stints included restaurant manager at both Pizza Hut (1990-94) and C. Rex, a jazz bistro (1994-96) then sports marketing agent/Business Manager for NBA players (1996-1998). Then in 1998 Chuck made his return to radio. Now a self described ‘traffic geek’, he relishes his job providing brief, concise, pertinent traffic info to WBTV, WBT, and WLNK listeners every morning. 

Hobbies: Golf, basketball, church, chess, sports video games, coaching youth sports, and a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan because it was my Dad’s favorite team.

Family: Wife, Cyrilla, and two children- Jack and Sabella all live in the Charlotte area.

Favorite Food: Anything my wife cooks!!! But I would have to say my favorite meal is  Pecan Crusted Catfish w/Maple Syrup gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, with Pumpkin Crisp for dessert!!!
