Career:  WBTV, 2004 - Present; WBBH/NBC2, Naples, Florida, 2002-2004; WVIR/NBC29, Charlottesville, Virginia, 2000-2001; TerpTV, College Park, Maryland, 1999-2000

Tom has been an 11pm reporter at WBTV since 2004. He also does special reports for other shows. He loves covering breaking news, exposing scams, and also reporting on local government. His most memorable story came when he was right in the thick of the riots that erupted in downtown Charlotte on July 4th, 2005.

Tom's favorite thing about reporting is the wide variety of people he gets to meet and the wide variety of places he gets to go.

Community Involvement: Tom is an assistant Sunday School teacher at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church in Charlotte's South End.

Hobbies: In his free time Tom loves visiting his girlfriend Brittani in Charleston, working out at the YMCA, playing tennis, and reading. Tom gets a thrill out of playing WBTV softball; he also coaches one of the station's teams (and has possibly the worst winning percentage ever).

Favorite Teams:  Tom loves the Maryland Terrapins. In addition, he is also a die hard Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan (he still follows them despite not living near Philly since 1989.) Also, Tom avidly follows the ACC.
