Winthrop Police Looking for Suspected Abductor

Winthrop University Campus Police are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a co-ed.

Officers say the man grabbed her shoulder from behind and pushed her into a wall on campus, yesterday.

The student screamed and escaped the man.

He is described as a white middle-aged man with a scruffy beard.

He's about five foot ten and weighs around 205 pounds.
