CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A truck towing a trailer loaded with Christmas trees flipped over in east Charlotte Friday morning.
The accident happened on the ramp from inbound Independence Boulevard to Eastway Drive around 7:15 a.m.
The truck had significant damage, but none of the trees actually fell out of the trailer which flipped over.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
When the truck hit a utility pole, it caused the top of the pole to snap off.
Crews with Duke Energy spent most of the morning making repairs. About 17 customers lost power due to the accident.
