Woman finds a GPS device attached to her SUV

Posted: Updated:

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -  A woman's home surveillance system has captured an unknown suspect attaching a GPS device underneath her SUV.

The incident happened a month ago in the Foxcroft area, sometime between 10:10 pm of September 3 and 9:51pm of September 6, according to a police report.

The video shows a suspect climbing the fence surrounding the victim's house and attaching a GPS device to the underbody of her 2006 Range Rover.

At the time, "No Tresspassing" signs were posted in front of the victim's home.

It's unclear why the victim in the case waited until October to contact police.
