
CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A middle school student who was walking to a bus stop Friday morning was struck by a motorcycle in north Charlotte.
The accident happened along the 11200 block of Amber Glen Drive around 8:13 a.m.
An officer with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said the child and the motorcyclist were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The child appeared to have a broken ankle and the motorcyclist was examined for a mild concussion.
The CMPD is still investigating the accident and there's been no word on charges at this time.
