FORT MILL, SC- (WBTV)- WBTV is On Your Side with a way you can get some laughs and help a good cause.
Scott Pacitti, founder of The Chuckleheads, spoke with WBTV's Kristen Miranda Saturday morning about a fundraiser, near and dear to the hearts of the Tega Cay Community.
The Chuckleheads, an improv comedy troupe based in Charlotte, frequents local bars and theatres with its off-the-wall entertainment. Friday, February 13, the troupe is doing something different: donating the proceeds of its show to help Connor McKemey.
McKemey, a Tega Cay teen, suffered 3rd degree burns over 85 percent of his body after an outdoor fireplace accident over Christmas. While he recovers at a burn center in Atlanta, his community plans to raise money for his treatment.
The Chuckleheads Conner McKemey Fundraiser happens next Friday, February 13, at Beef O'Bradys in Fort Mill at 8 pm. Beef O'Bradys promises to match the first $150 raised at the event.
