RALEIGH, NC (WBTV) - For the next two weeks, the North Highway Patrol will be cracking down on car and truck drivers who are aggressively driving on some Charlotte area interstates.

Operation TACT (Ticketing Aggressive Cars and Trucks) is an initiative focusing on aggressive driving around commercial motor vehicles.

In addition to focusing on aggressive car drivers, troopers will also be looking for truckers who are violating the law.

The highway patrol will specifically focus patrols on I-77 in Iredell County between Amity Hill Road and US 21.

They will also step up enforcement on I-85 in Cabarrus County between Kannapolis Parkway and Lane Street.
