School/business weather codes

Everyone MUST have a WBTV Weather Code for posting closings and/or delays due to inclement weather.

These codes should be set up in advance, so you have the code ready to use when you need it.

If you need a WBTV Weather Code, please email shancock@wbtv.com.

Please be patient during busy times. Your code will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All organizations with existing codes should continue to use them.

All you need to do is call 704-374-3691 to report your closing or delay.

Have your code ready before you call. It will be the first thing we ask for.

If a code has been lost for whatever reason, please email shancock@wbtv.com.
