In just under two hours, a major movie premiere will get underway in Ballantyne, and the star of the party is very sweet. A sculpture that has been made of sugar, is the centerpiece for the private "Sex and The City" premiere at Ballantyne Village Theater.
The scupture features shoes, which are, of course, very appropriate for a movie focused on fashion. It's the story behind the sculpture that WBTV's Kristen Miranda brings us today.
The sculpture was created at Salara, the Dessert Lounge by pastry chef Bill Foltz. He is the guy behind all of the pastries at Salara, but he was also awarded the title of 2006 U.S. Pastry Chef of the Year. Walking into his restaurant is like walking into a museum.
Today he showed us how he does what he does.
