CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist became the latest former Kentucky star to be sidelined four to six weeks with a broken left hand. The Bobcats announced Wednesday that Kidd-Gilchrist, the No. 2 pick in the 2012 NBA draft, suffered a non-displaced fracture in his hand during Tuesday night's game at Dallas.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Tom Droney scored 21 points and knocked down four free throws in the last 21 seconds of overtime to lead Davidson past Charlotte 87-78 Wednesday night. Davidson opened the extra session with a 7-0 run, sparked by a conventional three-point play by Jordan Barham.
