CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A successful opening night in Southend for young artist, Ellie Potvin.
Her mom tells me she Ellie is a joy and inspiration to everyone she meets.

This event at Studio 21 raised money for the "Lift up Ellie" fund.
Dozens of prints and paintings were sold in her honor.
Ellie is an eight-year-old Endhaven Elementary school student.
Diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2006, she goes back in for more treatment Monday.
