AIKEN, S.C. (AP) - A former South Carolina school administrator accused of having sexual contact with several students has been indicted by a grand jury.
The Aiken Standard reported Friday that 67-year-old Stephen Eubanks has been indicted on 19 charges, ranging from criminal sexual conduct to enticing an enrolled child from school. Eubanks worked as a school administrator in Aiken, Georgetown and Lancaster counties.
Authorities say Eubanks sexually assaulted several students, including a 14-year-old boy who police say he had sex with at his home in 1993. Investigators say he had sex with a 16-year-old girl and attempted to have sex with a 14-year-old male student between 1975 and 1977.
Eubanks is out of jail on $25,000 bond. He would not talk about the case Friday.
