WBTV 3 News, Weather, Sports, and Traffic for Charlotte, NC-ABC Board to give Charlotte more than $1 million

CHARLOTTE, NC - The City of Charlotte will soon collect some cash from the Mecklenburg County ABC board.
The alcohol board will hand the city a little more than a million dollars.
This is in addition to the $2.3 million the board expects to send to city coffers.
A high profile line in Governor Beverly Perdue's budget is an alcohol tax hike.
