CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools coach is suspended following accusations of strangling and assaulting a woman.
Jordan Woods, Exceptional Children’s Assistant and coach at Rock River High School, was charged with assault by strangulation, assault on a female and injury to property.
He was suspended with pay following the charges, CMS said Tuesday.
Woods has been with the district since August 2017.
Details surrounding the charges have not been released.
