Two arrested for series of vehicle thefts in South Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - CMPD has arrested two individuals believed to be involved in a string of vehicle break-ins that occurred this past January in a South Charlotte apartment complex.

Dana Denena, 26, and Faith Tillman, 25, have been charged in connection with three break-ins that took place in the Berkshire Place apartments off of Johnston Rd.

The incidents occurred on January 20, January 23 and January 26 and involved property being stolen from within each vehicle by an unknown individual.

Denena and Tillman have been arrested dozens of times for theft and trespassing charges around the area in the past several years.

The pair are now being given additional charges for breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, financial transactions card theft, financial transaction card fraud and larceny.

Denena and Tillman were already in custody when the most recent warrants were issued and remain so at this time.
