Shots fired at home after fight in Granite Falls
The only injuries reported were minor scrapes and bruises.

GRANITE FALLS, NC (WBTV) - Officials say shots were fire at a home after a fight in Granite Falls Friday morning.

According to the Granite Falls Police Department, officers were dispatched to a fight on Laurel Street around At 5:45 a.m.

Several people were there when officers arrived.

After an investigation, officers advised all of the people involved to pursue charges. Officers left the scene after everyone left.

Around 7 a.m, police were dispatched to shots fired at that same location. Officers arrived and found spent shell casings and damage to the residence.

An 18-year-old woman and others were at the residence both times.

The woman’s mother and brother live at the residence, but both were not there at the time. The only injuries reported were minor scrapes and bruises.
