Man wanted for assault on a female, cutting off monitoring device in Charlotte
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, 42-year-old Thomas Eugene Springs is wanted for assault on a female, felonious restraint, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A man is wanted for multiple crimes in Charlotte, including assault on a female and cutting off his monitoring device Saturday.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, 42-year-old Thomas Eugene Springs is wanted for assault on a female, felonious restraint, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

Springs was court-ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release.

On Saturday, Springs cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of Lawton Road in Charlotte.

Springs stands 6′2″ and weighs 240 pounds.
