CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker missed Sunday’s practice due to a mild neck strain he suffered in Friday night’s game against Milwaukee.
Walker did come to the facility to receive treatment, but did not partake in any other of the team’s activities for the day.
However, Coach Borrego is hopeful that Walker will be set to play on Monday’s game versus the New York Knicks.
“No practice so far. He’s sore right now, but I think he’s going to be okay. We’ll know more tomorrow,” Coach Borrego said.
