CATAWBA COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A woman accused of robbing a pharmacy at gunpoint and leading officers on a short chase in Catawba County Friday was arrested and charged.
Police say 39-year-old Rebecca Miller went into the CVS Pharmacy on Highway 127 S around 8:40 p.m. Friday and demanded medication at gunpoint. Miller then apparently fled in a dark colored vehicle, which was located on Zion Church Road. Police say a short chase ensued before coming to an end on David Baptist Church Road in Kings Mountain.
Miller was arrested. She faces charges of robbery, speed to elude arrest and resist, delay and obstruct.
