SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - West Council Street in Salisbury will be closed for up to five days so that crews can remove a tree.
The large Willow Oak tree is located at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in the 100 block of W. Council, just off North Main.
The contractor is estimating that the street may be closed up to 5 days. City of Salisbury officials have asked the contractor to limit the time of closing the street as much as possible.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause,” a city press release said, “If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at (704) 638-5200.”
