CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Tha man who was killed and found dead in a vehicle in east Charlotte Wednesday night has been identified, police say.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the incident happened in the 2500 block of Roseview Lane just before 11 p.m.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, says they located a deceased male inside of a vehicle. That person has not been identified.
That man was identified as 30-year-old Severo Rivera Diaz.
Based on information gathered during the course of the preliminary investigation and examination of the victim by the Medical Examiner’s office, the case is being treated as a homicide.
This is an ongoing, active investigation and there’s no word on what happened in the incident.
