CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A mother accused of exposing her child to meth was arrested in York County.
The alleged incident happened on August 7 but was reported nearly a month later, on October 9. A two-year-old tested positive for meth and amphetamine in a hair drug screen.
The boy’s mother, 29-year-old Melissa Glenn, was arrested On October 10 and charged with unlawful neglect of a child. She was given a $5,000 bond.
Glenn put her child at “unreasonable risk for harming affecting the child’s life or physical safety by exposing the child to methamphetamine,” the police report states.
