Chilly weather Saturday night as temps drop, beautiful Sunday

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Saturday night will be a cold one. Lows will fall to the mid to upper 20s so there is a Freeze Warning in effect.

It will be even colder in the mountains. Lows could fall to the teens. If you have any plants you want to save, bring them inside for the season.

Sunday will be a beauty. The sun will shine and highs will be in the low 50s.

There are two more First Alert Days coming our way on Monday and Tuesday. Ready for more rain? A system will bring rain chances during the day on Monday.

Hopefully the morning commute will stay dry but the evening one looks pretty wet.

Rain could be heavy at times through Monday and then into Tuesday. Highs will be chilly too. We will only top out in the 50s.
