LANCASTER COUNTY, SC (WBTV) - The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a home invasion case that resulted in the shooting of one of the residents of the property.
Lancaster Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, Nov.1 for shots fired. Upon arrival at the Kings Circle home, officials determined that the victim had already driven himself to the hospital before being transferred to a different facility for treatment.
A further investigation of the case found that the victim had been alerted about a security system warning that had been set off at the house before arriving. Upon pulling up to the property, the victim parked in the roadway where he noticed lights were on within the home and a door had been left open. The individuals in the house then reportedly shot at the victim, striking him as well as his vehicle, before fleeing the scene.
Shortly after beginning the investigation, deputies arrested Aikiriea Okeishai Crockett, 21, charging her with first degree burglary.
Arrest warrants have also been issued for Malcolm Eugene Belk, 28, Danquinton Lamar Johnson, 27, and Travis Phillip Miller, 35, in connection with this incident.
Belk, Johnson, and Miller should be considered armed and dangerous.
