CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The midweek weather looks very fall-like. Wednesday should be gorgeous, Thursday the clouds arrive, then it’s the rain on Friday. While that is all unfolding, the temperatures will be steadily dropping from the 60s Wednesday, into the 50s Thursday and may not get above the 40s Friday.
The average high during the first week of January (the coldest week of the year) is 50. So that will be a chilly, wet day. This upcoming rainfall will be courtesy of the remnants of Hurricane Willa that made landfall on the west coast of Mexico.
Additional showers are likely over the weekend, especially Sunday into Monday as an upper level low moves across the region. Cool air associated with that will keep daytime temperatures pegged around 60 degrees for the first half of next week.
Enjoy your Wednesday!
