FLORENCE, SC (WBTV) - A second officer has died as a result of an ambush that occurred on Oct. 3 in Florence County.
Deputy Farrah B. Turner had worked in law enforcement for 12 years and had assisted with serving a warrant to a man living at the residence where the shooting took place.
Turner was one of seven officers caught in an ambush after the man’s father began firing at them.
She had been in critical condition since the shooting occurred.
Brigida Mack had covered her story earlier this evening as the community rallied around Turner and her family.
