CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Citizens, business and private property owners of Rowan County now have the capability to report personal property damage from storms on line.
The Citizen Damage Assessment reporting app was created jointly by Rowan County Emergency Services, Rowan Telecommunications and Rowan County Information Technology representatives during Hurricane Florence.
The App is compliant with FEMA terminology and reporting requirements. It is confidential and helps to determine whether the threshold for Federal Individual Assistance is reached.
Damage from Hurricane Florence, Michael and future storms can be reported.
The Citizen Damage Assessment can be found at www.readyrowan.org.
It is located on the left side of the web page at the bottom of the list. Additionally, the iTunes or Google Play Apps can be found using the attached flyer.
