ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - Sawyer Cote, 22, of Salisbury, was killed on Friday night after crashing his motorcycle into a car that had stopped on the road.
According to the report, Cote was driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Bringle Ferry Road when he crashed into the rear of a Toyota. The driver of the car had stopped because the car in front of the Toyota was waiting to make a left turn.
The report said Cote failed to reduce his speed and collided into the back of the Toyota. He was thrown from the motorcycle.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
No charges were filed.
