CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Here are the main takeaways from the latest forecast:
- Warm today
- Cold front tonight
- Cool by week’s end!
Just when we thought fall was finally here over the weekend, summer made a reappearance yesterday and today. Two days in the low 80s in mid-October! That’s about to change though.
A cold front will move in tonight. It is pretty slow moving so there is a chance for showers from this evening through Wednesday morning. There won’t be a lot of rain – maybe about a quarter inch at most. Still it could be disruptive if you’re heading out tonight.
The bigger impact will be the temperatures. Highs will still be in the low 70s on Wednesday. That’s our transition day. By Thursday and Friday, we should be in the low 40s for lows and the mid 60s for highs.
Another front moves through on Saturday and brings a 50% rain chance before another temperature drop. Highs next Sunday and Monday will be in the low 60s! THAT’S fall weather!
Have a good evening!
